A perfect reminder that everything happens for a reason

The writer reminded me with each chapter to open myself up to the world, the universe, to adventures and to meeting new people. A perfect reminder that everything happens for a reason, do not doubt yourself and feel free to wander.

I could not put the book down!

While reading her book, Safari for the Soul, Jan Boal was able to transport me into her book and made me feel as though I was with her on her adventures.
From the first paragraph, not only could I picture Jan’s reaction to her inner voice, I could almost feel what she was feeling. In each chapter I felt as though I was with her as she described the people with whom she shared each adventure and the new surroundings in which she found herself. I laughed as she described the comical ways in which she overcame the language barriers, teared up when she described the devastating destruction in Joplin, I was excited and nervous when she came in contact with the animals she holds dear to her heart and I felt the sadness as she said goodbye to her new comrades (human and animal) with whom she bonded.
Jan is a tremendous inspiration and I am honored to have been able to be a part of her quest – even if only through her book. The message she conveys through her writing is a strong reminder of how fragile our planet truly is and why we all need to take part in saving it.
