Roberta is an acclaimed actress for her compelling portrayals of an array of interesting characters in film, TV and stage having worked with iconic actors and directors such as Clint Eastwood, Oliver Stone, Mickey Rourke and Leonardo DiCaprio. She is a graduate of UCLA in history and English and holds a California Lifetime Teaching Credential. Takes you on an Adventure & Spiritual journey!

My husband and I were captivated by reading Amelia Earhart, Me & Our Friends by Roberta Ellen Bassin! This exceptional book keeps the reader engaged from beginning to end! Roberta has done extensive research on Amelia and there are also passages from Amelia' Earhart's writings. You not only get a glimpse into Amelia's extraordinary life, but how her life relates to the author.
My husband and I also looked forward to the exercises throughout the book...these questions created by Roberta is a wonderful way to include The Reader, and bring them on their own adventure & spiritual journey!
We were fortunate to see the Talented author Roberta Ellen Bassin do her one woman show as Amelia Earhart! This is where we got her book and she signed it for us! Roberta will be doing a Book Signing at Book Soup in West Hollywood, CA on Saturday, July 30th at 1:00pm. (...) Seeing Roberta in person talk about Amelia Earhart is real treat!

Me & Our Friends" is a delight to read

"Amelia Earhart, Me & Our Friends" is a delight to read. Ms. Bassin has brought an historical figure to life through Amelia's own words, so that the reader gets to know all her likes and dislikes, her intimate feelings, relationships with close family members, and thoughts on marriage and children. What is so creative and unique is that Ms. Bassin compares her own life experiences with those of Amelia Earhart's so that the reader sees similarities in the two women who began life about a half century apart. Each chapter is fascinating to read; the more I read, the more similarities appeared between the two women. The photos of the author versus of the photos of Amelia were especially fun to compare. It was obvious that a great deal of thought, preparation, and research went into the writing of this wonderful little gem.

Reliving Amelia--in 2016

Ms. Bassin has done an excellent job of helping us relive the excitement and wonderment America --and the world--felt with Amelia Earhart. Moreso, her book is not just a story of the most famous woman aviator of all time, but a real life journal of how to live your life. It gives insights into Roberta's and Amelia's intricacies, and is a a robust manual for those who want to live a better life.
I look forward to reading more books by Ms. Bassin.
