I’m seeing results after 3-4 days.

One of the drills included making mental associations with things you tend to forget and repeat. At first I thought okay what is a book on amazon going to teach me? I always forget my cellphone when I take it out of my purse at work. So I started to apply the mental visualization technique. I would literally just make a note that my cellphone was physically out of my purse. I would picture this in my mind. After 3-4 days, every time I had to pick up my purse and move out, my mind would just click. It was absolutely phenomenal. It’s like magic, my brain just consciously sends me a message saying “don’t forget your phone; it’s not physically in your bag.” I mean it’s like all my life I’ve always forgotten things, but this one trick has been saving my life. I’ve lost tons of cellphones in my life especially in my younger 20’s and I’m truly shocked by it. The crazy thing is that was just one drill in the book. They have 10 exercises, but each one gets broken down into subcategories too. I haven’t even tried the other ones. I just tried the easiest one and its already working.

This book is straight up the bomb. Bryan Williams you have probably increased my IQ. Thank you. I cannot believe how much better my memory has gotten. It feels like someone drugged my brain to be on steroids, but in reality it’s applying these methods that literally exercises the brain.
I can definitely see how if you stretch the brain neurons, it starts providing better information processing. My hubby is just impressed overall at how I remember every single bill and appointment we have. Again, thank you so much! I feel so muchhhhhh smarter and my mind just feeeeeels so clear. If you want to improve your memory without reading a textbook, Get this book!

This book is absolutely incredible. For 3 dollars, this is the best value I’ve ever seen. Mr.Williams gives you clear and detailed methods that “WILL HELP” you improve your memory. It’s written VERY WELL and gives you specific examples of different techniques that will help guide you along the entire way. It shows you examples that allows you to jump into the deep end of the water and start working on your memory right away. I am a programmer and I’m using the book in attempt to excel at learning programming languages and complex terms, and so far, the book is invaluable. It’s just a winner and I 100 % recommend it for anyone looking to improve their memory.

I would highly recommend reading this book

This book's ideology has helped me beyond belief! I have been suffering from depression, anxiety, and bi-polar for as long as I can remember. If you are dealing with any sort of mental health issue, I would highly recommend reading this book, Although I couldn't find too much information on this author. This book is worth every cent and I wish I could have spent more money for the wisdom learnt. Thank you!!

Great read for young women preparing to launch their careers!

I have spent my entire career, in the recreation/camp/sports business, working with young men and women to maximize their gifts and personal talents. Although I did everything I could to help young women compete favorably, in 1972 Richard Nixon signed into law Title IX which forever leveled the playing field for men and women not only in sports but in every educational program that receives federal funding. It’s hard to believe that 44 years later women are still struggling to achieve equal acknowledgement and equal pay in the work place.

As the father of 2 young female college students Dr. Patty Ann’s book couldn’t be timelier. I strongly recommend MONEY CAN BUY YOU HAPPINESS for them and all their sisters who will be entering the work place in the next few years. The advice is simple and straight forward. Be confident, be secure, do your homework (which comes naturally to young women) and where you start has a huge influence on where you finish. It’s a quick and easy read that could pay huge dividends.

Fabulous advice for all women

I read every word of Dr. Patty Ann's newest book, and it made me think long and hard about the many years of my working life. The book made me realize how one's upbringing and other environmental factors influence one's ability to negotiate fair pay. I have clearly increased the gender wage gap and am embarrassed at how I've done so. If only I had read this book 25 years ago. I feel like I've already sunk myself into a hole and can't dig myself out to be paid what I'm worth. I have tried unsuccessfully and will now try to use Dr. Patty Ann's advice to move forward with a different approach. I am passing this book along now to both my college age daughters and hope it guides them well.

A must read for every woman!

I read this book from start to finish in just one sitting. I simply couldn't put it down. Myra has taken what some would think is a serious subject and incorporated a touch of humor in just the right places that support and respect the emotions that women may experience in her same situation. She has such clarity with her thoughts that every woman can relate to her feelings regardless of their situation in life. Although I'm recently divorced, I also lost a marriage and will face many similar circumstances being on my own solo. Thanks to Myra sharing her experiences, I am now better prepared for some of the challenges I'm facing.

About the Author
Louis J. Fernandez is a former Captain who served 7 years in the US Army. The first four years were as an Infantry Officer with the 82nd Airborne division where he deployed to both Afghanistan and Iraq. The last three years of his career, he was an Intelligence officer working worldwide counter-WMD. His awards include a Meritorious Service Medal, two Bronze Stars for service, a Combat Infantryman's Badge, Airborne Wings, and a Ranger Tab. He currently works for John Deere and is happily married with three children.

A Worthwhile Read

If you're getting out of the military, this is a book you should read.

It is very tailored to men who have served in combat, discussing issues that are specific to them, but even as female Air Defender (the most fobbity of all fobbit jobs), I found it really useful as I consider leaving the service.

Many of the chapters discuss things no one spends time talking about. Louis Fernandez is far, far more honest and blunt than what you find in what is now the Soldier For Life program. His experiences entering the corporate world are highly informative. It made me think about things in a different light. He gives some brief but useful information on writing a resume and going through an interview. The dozens of articles on the subjects don't get the point across nearly as well.

Once he got there, he encountered a lot of things that a really strange if you became a functioning adult in the military, where your boss can tear you apart for being fifteen minutes late because of traffic. For the most part, the civilian world doesn't work that way. He doesn't just tell you those stories, but offers solutions to dealing with them, especially emotionally.

What was particularly interesting to me is that some of the anger the author sees in himself is something I've begun to notice in myself, albeit without the automatic reactions instilled by combat. Just nearly blinding rage and a deep desire to physically do something about it. The Army programs you to behave in a certain way, to react in a decisive and violent manner not viable in the civilian world, and it looks like an issue found across the entire branch. Any Army leader who has been under stress will find his advice for dealing with it post-military will find it useful.

I also want to add that anyone who wants an honest read about the rigors of combat in our recent conflicts should read this book. I give Louis Fernandez a lot of credit for sharing his stories with people he doesn't know. His account of his experiences are thoroughly without political subtext or any kind of agenda. Writers looking to include veterans in their fiction should read the entire thing, because while he found life to have its difficulties after service, and there are things that haunt him, it doesn't make him into a dysfunctional psycho.

"CONUS Battle Drills" is a good look at the trials of getting out of the service, both concrete and emotional, and I recommend it to anyone who wants to know what a real combat veteran's mindset looks like.

This is a book that each soldier, marine, sailor or airman should read. It is well-written, highly informative and very useful as a guide to face transition out of the military into the civilian world. But beyond its practical application, this book is written by a soldier who exemplifies the values that make warriors a breed apart; loyalty, valor, commitment, and above all a clear exposition of the bond that exists among soldiers who have shared the rigors and challenges of combat. As a former Paratrooper, this book filled me with pride for these young men who risk everything for a Good greater than themselves. A must read for any veteran and for anyone interested in understanding and helping our veterans.

Great information for anyone transitioning from any branch of the Armed Forces to civilian life. Hit on a lot of struggles I had when I separated from the Army in '06. Recommended for anyone who wants to see the struggles our men and women in the military face on and off the battlefield. Very pleased with this purchase.

Her goal with her clients (and we are now clients by reading and applying the principles of this book) focuses on finding one’s own personal spiritual power, soul healing, and dreamwork. As she informs in the opening pages of her book, ‘I want you to understand that I was where you are now. I wanted peace. I wanted answers. I wanted to be in control of my life. I wanted to be in control of my outcomes. I wanted to pull toward myself all that brought me joy. I wanted to release all that brought me pain. I wanted to understand. I wanted to believe. I wanted hope. I wanted love. I ' wanted acceptance. It took me a while, but I found meditation. Meditation, for me, held the keys to all of those doors that were locked. Wonderful Book - Wonderful Style

Creative Meditation and Manifestation takes the reader on an interesting journey through what the author, Amara Honeck calls our “creative powers”. These 21 powers: Intent, Gratitude, Sacred Space, Meditation, Mindfulness, I AM, Wording, Journaling, Thought, Visualization, Forgiveness, Prayer, Emotion, Compassion, Vibrational Frequency, Belief, Perception, Trust, Surrender, Allowing, and Inspired Action, when used together, form a methodology to assist the reader in understanding how to unlock their innate universal gifts, which ultimately assist them in the realization of their goals and the living of a more positive joy-filled life.

Honeck has created a twenty-one day program that allows that the reader to take a deep dive into each of these 21 unique powers, with each power explained in its own dedicated chapter. In many cases she offers the reader personal experience on how to avoid the pitfalls and challenges of implementing these powers into everyday life. Each chapter ends with examples and exercises to assist the reader with incorporating the ideas and information easily. There is also a natural flow from one chapter and exercise to the next, which allows the reader to connect the concepts and build knowledge of the overall process.

Honeck also offers the reader an interesting, creative format of drawing, coloring, doodling, and journaling to clear the mind of excess mental junk so that the new ideas can take root. This unique layout style of formatting the pages to bring in the creative side reminded me of the mind-mapping technique and greatly helped me with the process of incorporating these new ideas. It also made the book visually aesthetic and unique.

While many others have offered self-help books that explore self-discovery, meditation and the Law of Attraction, Honeck’s creative spin without all the materialism was quite refreshing. I felt as I read the pages that she was there with me acting as a personal coach, providing positive feedback and encouragement.

I would highly recommend this book to anyone who wants a new approach for the age-old quest of finding answers within. I found it quite helpful in assisting me through the loss of a loved one. Honeck’s approach helped me turn the terrible loss and guilt into something much more positive. I now use many of her techniques on a daily basis.

This book is very well written and very informative with powerful yet easy to understand concepts

Finally a manifestation book that explains the process and works!
Over the past several years I have immersed myself into the Law of Attraction concept and in the process have read many books on the topic. Most of those books tend to superficially gloss over the surface and come to the inevitable same simplistic superficial conclusion that if you just will it, it will come, without having to put much effort or deeper thought into the process.
This book is very well written and very informative with powerful yet easy to understand concepts. It unlocks the outer doors of the Law of Attraction and guides the reader into the inner sanctum and reaches the real key which is what the soul needs and wants
This 21 step interactive program utilizes powers that we already possess and offers a very refreshing and realistic approach to manifestations. I also like that there are solutions for scenarios when the law of Attractions doesn’t work (which I have certainly experienced).
I also love the ability to write notes throughout the 21 day process. I plan on getting the workbook and meditative coloring books as well.
I learned a lot about myself and the things that really matter to my soul by reading this book and following the program. I consider this one of the most effective and best books I’ve read on manifestation.
I certainly hope the author will write more as she is really on to something!

Have Pets, Will Color

I was given a free copy of this in exchange for a fair review. This is a good-quality book. Pictures are printed on one side of quality paper. Each image in the book has two successive pages, so if you goof on one you still have a backup. Or you could hang out with a friend and each color the same page. There are a great variety of images in this book, some are more elaborate and some are not so elaborate; I like that choice. There are a few blank pages at the back of the book for you to doodle on or whatever you please. If you love animals and have pets, you'll love this book. I'm posting a work in progress from the book and will post a completed picture when I finish it.

great great book everyone should get this one!

I recieved this book from the srtist herself to do a review, it came in today and i am so happy with it. Each picture is printed twice it is one sided pages so any medium can be used though i would suggest putting 2 blank sheets behind your picture as some markers bleed heavily. All the dogs are well drawn and so adorable i would definitely recommend this book to everyone.

About the Author
Ora Nadrich, a popular Huffington Post writer, is a Los Angeles-based certified Life Coach and Mindful Meditation specialist. A recent statistic claims we think anywhere between 10,000 to 60,000 thoughts per day. That’s quite a lot of thoughts!

But how well do we know our thoughts? You may think, "Of course I know my thoughts! I'm the one having them!" But just being aware that you're having thoughts is not the same as knowing them -- that is, their origin, how they affect you, whether they are reasonable and realistic, or even whether you can have power over them.

Have you ever considered questioning your thoughts, or do you just accept whatever comes into your head as normal thinking? Since we have so many thousands of thoughts per day, many of which are bound to be negative, do you know how you would even begin to question them or know which ones to challenge (or whether to challenge them)?

Most of us probably don’t think about questioning our thoughts. But, if even half of our thoughts we think each day are negative, it’s easy to see how letting those thoughts exist unchecked and unquestioned can make staying positive, productive and goal-oriented difficult.

The reason: a particular thought can pop up, and it gets our attention more than the others, especially if it's negative. That’s usually because we have some kind of energy or an emotion around it, and it just doesn’t seem to go away. Even if it recedes somewhere to the back of our mind, it will usually pop up again, sometimes when we least expect it, especially in times of stress, agitation or flux.

A thought that doesn’t go away is a thought that’s trying to tell you something more than just what’s on the surface. And if you don’t pay attention to it, it’s probably going to stick around and make sure that you do. That isn't a problem if it's a productive thought like reminding you to pay a bill, or call an elderly parent you haven’t spoken to recently, for instance, but if it's a recurring thought that's negative or causing anxiety for no apparent reason, that can be an issue.

So how can we know what a thought is trying to tell us if we don’t question it? The answer is, we can’t. The only way we can know what a thought is trying to convey is by questioning it, and that means finding out where it came from, what it’s doing there, and what purpose it serves for your well being. A positive thought is useful and productive, and makes you feel good about yourself. Recurring negative thoughts do nothing but make you feel bad and diminished in some way, and most often hold no purpose in serving your well-being. Yet many people will accept those kinds of thoughts as real and hold on to them, whether they are based in reality or not.

For instance, people suffering from anorexia steadfastly hold onto the thought that they are fat, even when they can see their skeletal frames in the mirror. While that is an extreme case, it is an example of how strong and pervasive a negative thought can take root in our minds, convincing us that they're real, even if the mirror says otherwise.

So how do you question a thought that makes you feel bad, and find out whether it’s based on what is real, or is instead an inaccurate or distorted perception because of an experience you’ve had in the past that was negative, and influenced your thinking as a result?

You should add this book to your library

I was lucky enough to beg an advance copy, and devoured it in one weekend. I don't know which aspect was more fascinating to me - the simplicity of the Says Who Method or the complexity of the challenges it solves! Just experimenting with the Says Who basics on myself on with clients, I am convinced that this book will help raise the lives of many, many people who have been waiting for just this tool! Whether you are drawn to it for your own personal work or to use it to help clients, friends or family, you should have the Says Who method book in your repertoire, and this book on your shelf!
