It all sounds like a big scam to me and he's getting screwed ...

Having to hear about his experience taking a dump in a hole while in the Ukraine was a bit too much information for me. I also have a hard time believing these women (super model looks apparently) are truly interested in a dude from Minnesota who admits to not making a ton of money, considers "dressing up" to mean a MN Vikings sweatshirt, and based on his picture, is very average looking (sorry - just being honest). These women are not showing him any real interest - especially when he travels there to meet them. It all sounds like a big scam to me and he's getting screwed - and not in a good way! Lastly the writing and the structure of the book leave much to be desired. I'm all for self-publishing but this seems to be done at a very amateurish level. Good luck dude - sure hope you find love with someone who is actually attainable!

This book was insightful, brutally honest, and refreshingly candid. Bauer takes the reader on a journey of self-discovery in the world of international and internet dating. He lets the reader inside his head as he struggles with self-doubt, and finding love in the modern age.

A fantastic expose of the trials and tribulations of a newly-single man on his quest for adventure. When you crack this book you immerse yourself in the journey the author lays out to bare on the pages before you. The book is filled with prose that simultaneously paints an elaborate portrait of encounters gone wonderfully as well as awry, yet leaves the reader with the impression that more is left unsaid than said. Mr. Bauer takes his readers to the edge of understanding, and leaves them wanting more. His writing is styled from his point of view, but the reader cannot help but imagine him or herself walking those same paths in life, or facing those same decisions. Overall a captivating read, buckle up for the Ukrainian wonders of the world.
