Great book!

Not so long ago I started practicing meditation but I never really knew new what mindfulness actually meant, and how it's connected to meditation. That's why I got this book and I learned that meditation is a means by which one gets to the point of mindfulness, but there are a lot of freedom in the way these terms are used. Mindfulness is a state of being fully aware of and experiencing the present moment to its fullest, a love affair with yourself as the book puts it. It's also about living in the moment you could say and being devoid of thoughts that cause us the usual worry.
This book provides some really nice exercises for practicing and achieving mindfulness. I really liked the coloring drawings method! It's well written and easy to read.

Mindfulness is trendy these days. To be honest with you, I don't exactly know what it is until I picked up this guide book. Mindfulness is a practice that can impact on your health, happiness and well-being. It allows you to regulate your attention and energy to improve the quality of your experience. You can use the proven techniques suggested here to control weight loss, anger management and immune system health. I particularly enjoyed using the Mandala pattern coloring exercises provided in the last few chapters to improve mindfulness. The book is a great read and I'd recommend it.

Mindfulness by Rachel Claire is a great guide to mindfulness, it thoroughly covers how you can understand it and what benefits you can gain from practicing mindfulness. I really like how the book comes with pictures included (it makes for a better mental understanding). There is also over 20 exercises/activities the reader can participate on which makes the whole process of achieving true mindfulness way easier.
