I've been shopping with Amazon for years and this is my 1st review. Being half Korean myself, I've been searching for Korean designs to color for months. I was delighted to find this book as these designs are beautiful and diverse. I've finished 1 so far and I look forward to completing the rest of these. And the fact that this was created by a high school student makes it even better. Looking forward to more from this artist.

Reality check! In a positive way

It’s funny how it’s hard to see the things right in front of you. I was going though a rough patch and felt like everything was against me. My family, my relationships, even just the weather! After picking up a couple of books from the library I decided to get “The Positive State of Mind,” and my mind just opened up! It talked about positivity, embracing it, understanding when you’re thinking negatively and how to self-help yourself when you’re going through tough times. Needless to say, I feel like I now have a good grasp of what’s going on in my head. Thank goodness!

This book is short, to the point and above all else, practical. It gives pointers on how to identify a goal, quantify a goal, and then operationalize a plan to achieve that goal. The book then gives many concrete examples of how this process works, which is tremendously helpful. I recommend this book to anyone searching for a way to reach their full potential!

Concise and Effective

A Conscious Effort is a concise book for people who want to set and achieve goals in their professional and personal life. Dr. Barbour wastes no time with long illustrations, but respects the reader’s time and goes straight to the meat of how to set goals and then helps to lay out a path to achievement. It is interactive cognitive journey that allowed me to find out what I REALLY want and why I want it. He recommends identifying your true motivations and in doing so you will be more likely to stay on track and do what it takes to succeed. I’ve used his journaling method over the past several weeks and I’ve found that I have more clarity in my thoughts, I feel more motivated, I procrastinate less, I’m less stressed, and I have made more time for what really matters to me. Highly recommend.

As an avid online dating enthusiast, I am always looking for new ways to give myself en edge in the love department. After reading the book, my partners have verbally expressed how more fulfilled they have felt as a result of my new-found abilities in the bedroom. This has led to me feeling more confident and at ease around beautiful women, and my self-esteem has soared! The other day, I even went up to an attractive woman on the train and sparked a conversation with her. She gave me her number afterwards! The Guide to Great Sex is easy to read and understand, and the way the author explains his process is very logical and thoughtful. I highly recommend this book to anyone who not only wants to better pleasure themselves and their partner, but also to anyone who wants to gain self-respect and courage in dealing with the opposite sex!

Great read. Insightful and actionable

I was skeptical at first because I'd never read a book like this before. I didn't really know what to expect, but the author writes with good mix of lighthearted and serious tones that fit the subject being discussed and making it an entertaining read.

The info is presented in a way that's easy to understand, and although I haven't actually used any of the tips yet, I can see my boyfriend and I using them in the bedroom in the near future.

I think parts of the foreplay chapter could be condensed to make it a little easier to visualize, but that's pretty much the only thing I would change. Great read, and I think anyone could learn something from this book because so much of it isn't discussed in sex ed classes (or even amongst friends!)

I am not an employee and this is not a positive given because I get paid to. Seriously good information. If you don't study the art of lovemaking you're missing the boat. 36 years of marriage...and I still do. Read the book. Together would be best, but my Bride won't go there. I have surprised her! For males or female couples(if someone has a vulva!) I also think "She Comes First" is well worth the read.

Lists for Living...is so much fun and actually has real advice for your life.

This book was given to me as a gift from my sister. If Oprah Winfrey had her book list from the Oprah Show, I think Myrna Ossin would be a guest on that show. She clearly has a vast wealth of knowledge of lists for your life. Everyone can use this book and learn from it. It is not only an archive of to-do’s lists, it is like having access to a brain of someone who thinks of everything. It was just fun to read cover to cover. I gave Lists for Living as a gift to my mother-in-law and she couldn’t stop talking about it. She even said, she learned “she should always put her contact information on the inside of her suitcase, not just the outside.” It's a surprisingly good resource book.

There is a lot of information out there on living, self-help, what to do, life recommendations etc. However, not as comprehensive as List for Living. The book is an easy read, the tips are useful and do help enforce everyday living. If you read the book, you will certainly find yourself reading more pages that you anticipated, just cannot seem to put it down. I highly recommend Lists for Living to anyone and any age and at any point in your life. A+++

This coloring book is just AMAZING!!! I bought one for myself and my husband had to have one too and then we have purchased more for gifts. This book is a work of art and has so many amazing details. It makes me feel like a designer every time I pick it up to color. Also talk about a stress relieving activity! We love Wild World and will be getting all the other adult coloring books from Kristina Carter. Simply amazing!!!

Sylvie Nicolle is an author, graphic designer and illustrator and has published hundreds of designs. Creativity has been an integral part of my life since my early childhood. Stress reliever

Wow! For me, this coloring book is perfect for relaxing. I felt so much entertainment and fun while doing this one. I enjoyed each animals in here and while doing it, I tend to forget my problems and for that, I had the chance to release my stress through this adult coloring book. I am so much pleased and very much satisfied with this book. I love it!

I would recommend this book to people who are unhappy with current ...

Not everyone has the awareness of how false teaching and thoughts have limited us. This book is a wakeup call to those who are struggling with their career. It is a short yet very powerful book, filled with wisdom. It's powerful because it peels off layers of lies and leads everyone to facing the truth: who am I really and what should I do? Step by step, by removing those lies, the author presented the roadmap to finding out what the creator has planned for each one of us. As what is said in the book, "You are always, in all ways, greater than you think".

I would recommend this book to people who are unhappy with current job and want to live a passionate life. Finding passion is a journey of discovery, I personally think it is unrealistic to assume any book (including this one) as a magic pill to find the answer immediately. However, this book will provide inspirations for stepping into your ‘zone of genius’, help you overcome fear and doubts, and show you the pathway that leads you from darkness to light, from confusion to clarity.

This book has been a true blessing to me. Motherhood is hard and I often feel alone and inept. Brooke and Stacey remind us that none of us are alone in feeling this way. Each devotional touches on a biblical truth that God is our hope! Days when I feel like I've only failed can be days used for His glory! He can use my mess and make it beautiful. Each chapter takes a few minutes to read and offers questions to challenge the reader to dig deeper within. Many of the verses and stories repeat in my head when I need a piece of encouragement. This book will definitely be one I keep close by to read often!

Just as this book reminds me that God will meet me, help me and encourage me where I am, I felt like this devotional met me where I was every single day! If I was struggling with anxiety, isolation, hurt, anger, or just wanting to feel like what I'm doing as a mom matters, each daily devotion covered the topic God knew I needed to read that day. This devotional is great source of hope and encouragement, always leading me back to His hands and loving arms...where I need to be!

This book is written by two moms who are so transparent in the best of ways about their own weariness and where they have discovered hope. This is not a feel-good, easy, pat answer and then it will all get better kind of book. It is a well-balanced, Biblical-based, personal look at changing our focus and perspective. Each day has challenged my thinking and my heart, all without taking more time to read than is available even on my busiest, most crazy mama days.

I liked Evan

Evan is book 3.5 in the Carter Brothers series. Evan is Denny's brother and their relationship is a little rocky after the whole Denny situation. I really struggled how to rate Evan. I was stuck with rating it a 3.5 or 4 stars. I liked the story and Evan himself was another alpha to fall in love with so I rated it a 4 star.

Evan seems to want it all after Kennedy and Imogen show up at his door. I liked Evan I think he was caring, protective and another great character written by the author.

The story was fast paced and well written. I wanted a little more twist to the story but it was pretty straight forward.
In the beginning,Evan reminded me of Better Left Forgotten, Book 1 in the Forgotten Series which was written by Lisa. The whole sister thing with Kennedy and Imogen was similar.
I wish Kennedy would have used curse words inside of saying things like"Sugar" and "Fiddle Sticks". It made her seem younger than she really was and I didn't find it cute.
Overall, it was a good story and I am happy he got what he always wanted.

Amazing !!!

This is book 3.5 in the Carter Brothers series and should be read in order.

Evan Smith knew what he wanted out of life, then his sister’s kidnapping changed everything for him. Now he wants more out of life than what he had, so he sets about making the changes to get to where he wants to be. Just as he starts to settle down he is hit with a surprise he never saw coming.

Evan had his life turn up-side-down when he found out that the woman he thought was his mother not only wasn’t but she had murdered his real mother and kidnapped his sister. This change Evan's whole look on life, he wanted what his sister Denny has, a family of her own. Knowing that being an undercover police officer really didn’t help him to achieve his goal, he decided to make a career change.

Kennedy Wright hasn’t had an easy life but she makes the most of what she has. Taking care of her niece Imogen is her first priority. Knowing that if she doesn’t find Imogen father she could lose her niece, sends Kennedy knocking on Evan’s door giving him the biggest surprise of his life. She not out to take him for what he has but she just needs his help to protect her niece.

Evan may only be a Carter through his sister Denny but is just a fiercely protective as them. We first met Evan in Denny and Mason story. He was a character you didn’t get to know as much but his own story gives readers an inside look at what kind of man he is. Evan never really understood what his sister went through until it was too late. Not wanting to let life pass him by Evan changed so he could settle down and start a family. Then a petite brown eyed brunette showed up at his door shaking up his world again with shocking news and setting his desire on fire. Kennedy may have gone to Evan for help but she definitely got more than she bargain for. The moment these two first met their lust and desire for one another ignites. Kennedy was very open with her reasons for landing on Evan’s door steps but the attention he gives her only made her shy and flustered around him. Kennedy hasn’t ever really encountered what it’s like for a man to want to be there for her and the protectiveness they can have, and with Evan she gets to experience it not just towards herself but her niece Imogen too.
Lisa delivers another amazing story in the Carter Brothers series. Evan and Kennedy are two characters you can help but root for. You want them together, to see them become a family. Both the lives that Evan and Kennedy’s sister have lived prove things don’t always run smoothly. The twists in this story draws you in and leave you wanting more. Of course with this being a part of the Carter Brother series, the readers also get to catch up with of the Carter family.
I was given this book for review by the author and I do have to say that Lisa’s writing and storytelling just keeps getting better with every book she writes. I can’t wait for that last two books in the series!

Loved both the H and h.

To anyone who is familiar with the series they know that Evan is the brother of the heroine from book 2. And from the way we were introduced it didn't take much to think that Lexi, his next door neighbor, was going to be his love interest but I was pleasantly surprised to find out she wasn't. Evan and Kennedy were a coupled that paired amazingly together and surprisingly I liked both the H and h, which is something that doesn't always happen in stories. But I was rooting for both Evan and Kennedy.

Evan was a man who lived for his job and because of that he had separated himself from his family. But this has unintended consequences when his sister is harmed and in the aftermath this has him reevaluating his life and what he wants from it. He wants to fix his relationships with his family especially his sister and begin to find that one woman who will be his wife and begin his own family. Little does he know that his desire for a family of his own will be fufilled.

Kennedy is a girl who had a rough start to life but never gave up on hoping for a better future. She is a woman who doesn't have many she loves completely but the one person she does love is one she will do anything for and so she goes looking for the one person who can help her do that. But that one person will change both their lives forever and for the better.

This was a really great story and in most cases I really don't have like the type of insta-lust/love type stories but it was handled well in Evan (the book). I think that both characters were in a place in life where they were open to finding that one person to love without all the major angst and miscommunication. Plus, they both had one person in common who helped to bring them together because of their mutual love for that person.

Another great thing about this book is the setup for Max's story at the end. I can't wait to see what that was all about.

Though I have to say in this book I slightly disliked Evan's sister in this book at the beginning but all was forgiven in the end. It was just in that particular scene my heart broke for Evan because you know he was nervous and wanted his sister to love and accept everything and you could feel how hurt and disappointed he was by her reaction. Also, I was expecting more interaction with his father.
